Analysis:
The interesting matchup is Cincinnati’s top 25 SAVAGE rated offense against Virginia Tech’s top 25 defense. When Virginia Tech has the ball, they are able to gain yards, but struggles to score.
In SAVAGE ratings Duke and Arizona State are evenly matched. Arizona State features a top 25 offense, but a middle of the pack defense while Duke has good offense just outside of the top 25, but a better defense than Arizona State.
Miami torches South Carolina’s 106th ranked rush defense on the ground.
Boston College’s offense depends on their 13th SAVAGE rated rushing offense, but they are up against Penn State’s #5 rated rushing defense.
In the SAVAGE ratings Nebraska is 9 points better on offense while USC is 2 points better on defense, but USC is very good against the run which will keep the game close.
